The Art Of Crochet

The Client Hachette Partworks LTD wanted a TVC (Television Commercial) for their new "The Art Of Crochet" Magazine. The magazine taught the reader how to crochet and supplied the materials to make something new with each issue. The Advert was simply to illustrate this and the pieces you would eventually learn how to make.

Here is the first 2 pages of my 7 page call sheet for 16/07/09
On Shoot day as a Runner you are required to do pretty much anything anyone says, on this shoot i was asked to move furniture for the art department, move lighting equipment for the sparks, get tea for the director, clean and tidy the set, unload and load up the grip and sparks equipment (Dolly and Lighting). And generally run around all day, but at least the food is free.

Back to London

I Started at Flynn Productions on Mon 13th July 09.
On a day to day basis in the office i was sent on runs all over London to collect packages, cameras and camera equipment, Monitors, DVDs, Lunch, Furniture, Paintings, Office Supplys, Software etc.

I was also given tasks to find Referencing Pictures and Videos for Developing Treatments, Scanning, Folder Compiling, Actor and Actress Searching on Spotlight.com and everyday office work.
My claim to fame when it comes to office running has to be changing the male toilets toilet seat.

Work Experience Pre Summer

In the Easter Break 09 I Began my Work Experience with a company called Treend Construction, My 1st Job was to Paint 3 circular podiums so that they would appear to be antique gold. The Podiums were for the new Noisettes Music Video which was to be produced by Flynn Productions.
This image shows the 3 podiums stacked on top of each other.

Here is a link to the music video "Noisettes - Never Forget You"

The Next Job i worked on was for EA Sports. They had employed Indipendant Film (a london based production company) to make an advert for their new Wii Tennis Game (Wii Grand Slam Tennis). Our Job as the art department was to transform a normal tennis court into a replica of Wimbledon. Whilst damaging the court as little as possible.
